I managed to get hold of a spare genuine Fender telecaster neck from a local guitar collector. For all the other guitars I have built the necks from scratch. But I would be a waste not to use such a nice finding. The routing templates for the thinline-style body were still around, so why not another one. I have started to like the thinline idea. The guitars becomes lighter than their solid body cousins and the tone is changed to the wamer side and becomes more “open”. This time I also wanted to use the P-90 pickup format. A slight re-shaping of the pick guard was required. I was using a non-tremolo stratocaster bridge from Gotho. Mahogany body with maple top “as usual”.
