1’st Guitar

This is my first guitar that was completed 2007. I used a “Ibanez RG”- inspired bodyshape. The material is a 2 piece laminated mahogany body, and a 3 piece laminated neck. The neck is glued to the body at an angle of a few degrees (almost like a Gibson guitar). The hardware is Shaller tuners and bridge. The pickups are Seumour Duncan ’59 in neck position and JB in bridge position. Fender Scale was also used. At first I thougt the guitar was a bit dull in tone, but after adjusting pickup distance and changed from 09-42 strings to 09-46 strings, it produced a better punch.
